Rainbow Production Services has added a new Administrative, Technical and Preproduction Facility to our New England Base of Operations.

As an addition to Rainbow’s existing New England based Warehouse and Offices, this new 18,000 square foot building is intended to better facilitate the companies growing need for space to develop, build and service systems for regional and touring clients.

The new building will house all administrative and sales offices and deliver a variety of new spaces for general services including the following:

• A Technical Clean Room to handle, build and repair processing systems for tours and events requiring custom built electronics.

• A Pre visualization Studio to enable our techs with the ability to program shows in a virtual environment before the day of show.

• An Expanded Wood & Metal Shop to maintain case and speaker inventory and custom build as needed.

• An Automated Lighting Technical Service Center to complete all equipment repairs in-house.

• A 4600 square foot High Bay Preproduction Space large enough to build and fly entire arena and stadium lighting and sound systems prior to shipping. This is to ensure that all systems leave the warehouse having been completely assembled and tested to eliminate problems faced by most other production companies on site.

In addition to these enhancements, the new building will create flexibility in the storage of our ever growing inventory allowing Rainbow to be for productive and cost affective in its operations. This added space brings us several steps further in our abilities to live up to our reputation in providing complete production services. Rainbow’s unique combination of services can not be found anywhere else in New England within a single location and will also prove to be as good as any other across the country.

Key Lighting & Visual adds a significant number of new Meyer speakers to the Rainbow Production Services inventory.

Rainbow has grown yet again with the acquisition of over 80 new Meyer Speaker boxes to add to its already burgeoning inventory. This latest addition rockets Rainbow ahead of all other audio companies in New England and gives us one of the largest touring inventories in the Northeast if not the entire East Coast.

Rainbow Production Services completed a recent stop at Madison Square Garden on the Dane Cook Tour covering 360 degrees of the arena with Milo and Mica while still holding more than 80 additional Meyer boxes out on other shows and in reserve back in New England.

“We currently hold enough inventory to compete two full “A” market arena tours simultaneously with plans to add a third system before the beginning of the summer season.” C. Michael Martell – President, Rainbow Production Services

Rainbow Production Services reinvents its on-site look with a complete new inventory packaging system.

Rainbow has spent over a year in R&D designing a completely new system of packaging all of the company’s gear. The criteria had to encompass complete stability and protection of gear within the most efficient casing available along with an appearance that would be welcomed by all. This has resulted in some of the sturdiest racks, trunks and cases on the road with a lidless design that makes for easy load-ins and outs in record time. The look is a prefect fit for all Rainbow Production Service events from the largest touring clients to the most delicate private events.

Rainbow Production Services is deep into the complete replacement of all casing inventory and plan to finalize this turnover by the middle of 2008. This new packaging will save time and money while providing our clients with some of the most advanced packaging in the industry.

Rainbow Production Services adds Digidesign to its line of audio mixing consoles.

Rainbow has recently received shipment of two complete Venue Digital Mixing Systems with the full D-Show console and expanded I/O and Effects cards. These are the first of several new digital consoles to be added to service the company’s ever expanding regional and touring markets. Rainbow already keeps a stock of digital mixing consoles for touring clients but these will be the first with the new digital snake system and newly configured standard of Combination Digital and Analogue stage boxes. Each of these Stage Box Systems will be complete with the Digidesign stage rack with recallable, remote-controlled preamps and an integrated Ramtech STGBX-54-XP cross patching stage box and sub-snake system.
